yepp im back from tat trip to shainghai. actually been back for like 3 days but im too lazy to type. almost forgotten how to type and spell words. chinese got into my mind. speaking it for like 6 days non stop. people there don't know english!!! arggg. went to starbuck there and they say those orders in a very chinese english. mixing them up laughing my head off.shainghai is beautiful at night. at the 'bund' (seaside) you can look at all the building light glowing and all sort of things. they said pudong (east side of shanghai) is the richer part. live in a place there.
10 things you want to know
1) people love spiting there. on the street and even in shopping center or in their very own shop!!
2)beware when u take the taxi. they drive crazily.
3)do not take a taxi if you are pregeant, having heart problems or any other things. it SCARRY THERE almost like bumper car. expect its real.
4)always look before you cross the road even if its green light. look to your right hand for turning car. (amreican way)
5)ALWAYS ALWAYS bargin whenever. no matter if you are half dead or anything. slash the pricfe to 40% of it selling price then slight raising it. people there put the price way too high.
6)GO to the salons there. go to a proper one where they serve you drinks get you magazines. they are CHEAP. its like half of the price if you curl or rebond your hair there. dead cheap.
7)get or keep extra plastic bags if you are going shopping. plastic bags there totally suck. unless you are going to the real VL to get stuff. ( not worth it there, buy from singapore changi airport. latest design and cheaper.)
8)get enough rest before going there. u can shop like crazy there. things are so cheap if u bargin. thats the real fun
9)get bottles of clean water. as in mineral water. never try drinking water from the tap whether boiled or not. taste like it has a fish or some newspaper in them.YUCK (almost vommited when i brush my teeth argg)
10)beware of salespeople there or anyone saling things. if u are NOT interested then don't go and ask for the price because they are violent bloodsuckers. they will pull you back and force u to buy that stuff.(mum and her friends once saw a japanese man gotten beaten as he did not wanted to buy their stuff. and the policeman was standing there laughing!!!)
